Community mobilization to reduce HIV among young women

Community mobilization (CM) is defined as community members taking collective action to achieve a common goal in health, equity and rights. CM components related to lower HIV infection among young South African women include critical consciousness and leadership. CM may reduce this group's risk for HIV infection. (S. Lippman, A.
