African women's view of multipurpose prevention products in TRIO study

Among women in the Tablet, Rings and Injectables as Options (TRIO) study, majority (65%) preferred injections to prevent unintended pregnancy and HIV infection. The remaining preference for tablets and vaginal rings were evenly split. Women’s choices were based on the undesirable attributes or characteristics of other TRIO products (A. van der Straten, CAPS/PRC)
